Start: 3rd. Finish: 7th. Note: Here's one driver proving the Dodges could make huge impact in 2001. Won 125-mile qualifying race.

Rockingham
Start: 26th. Finish: 8th. Note: Another solid run.

Las Vegas
Start: 8th. Finish: 3rd. Note: The only driver with a Top 10 finish in each of the first three races, Marlin made a run for the victory; 1st in Winston Cup points standings.

Atlanta
Start: 12th. Finish: 35th. Note: Got to lap 300 in the Top 5 and engine blew up.

Darlington
Start: 5th. Finish: 5th. Note: Engine holds out this week, and it's another top-five run.

Bristol
Start: 2nd. Finish: 12th. Note: A mystery how this wasn't a top-10 run; 3rd in the Winston Cup points standings.

Texas
Start: 37th. Finish: 34th. Note: You can't do much about accidents sometimes.

Martinsville
Start: 31st. Finish: 5th. Note: This is no fluke for Sterling, although it was tough.

Talladega
Start: 2nd. Finish: 23rd. Note: Led the most laps and looked like he would finish strong, then got boxed in; 5th in Winston Cup points standings.

California
Start: 31st. Finish: 9th. Note: If you can't beat 'em, then finish in the Top 10.

Richmond
Start: 15th. Finish: 11th. Note: Still the best of the Dodges.

Charlotte
Start: 26th. Finish: 15th. Note: Ran in the Top 10 most of the evening then faded; 7th in Winston Cup points standings.

Dover
Start: 7th. Finish: 6th. Note: One of these weeks he's going to turn a Top 10 into a victory.

Michigan
Start: 29th. Finish: 3rd. Note: For a while it looked as if Dodge would get its first victory of the year, but it will have to wait again; 3rd in Winston Cup points standings.

Pocono
Start: 2nd. Finish: 4th. Note: One Dodge in the Top 10, guess who?

Sears Point
Start: 16th. Finish: 28th. Note: A promising day turned sour.

Daytona II
Start: 1st. Finish: 39th. Note: This was going to be the week for Dodge; but it wasn't to be after an accident.

Chicago
Start: 9th. Finish: 9th. Note: Ho hum, the highest finishing Dodge again; 5th in Winston Cup points standings.

New Hampshire
Start: 37th. Finish: 17th. Note: Hard to move to the front from such a poor starting position.

Pocono II
Start: 10th. Finish: 16th. Note: Hitting a small dry spell.

Indianapolis
Start: 8th. Finish: 2nd. Note: Couldn't track Gordon down, but great run.

Watkins Glen
Start: 16th. Finish: 25th. Note: Not much of a factor all day.

Michigan
Start: 15th. Finish: 1st. Note: No more stories about when is Dodge going to get its first victory.

Bristol
Start: 17th. Finish: 9th. Note: He's just piling up the Top 10s.

Darlington
Start: 12th. Finish: 16th. Note: Can't expect great runs all the time.

Richmond II
Start: 3rd. Finish: 32nd. Note: Got into Jeff Gordon, then had problems of his own.

Dover II
Start: 26th. Finish: 8th. Note: You didn't hear much from him all day, but yet another Top 10.

Kansas City
Start: 19th. Finish: 5th. Note: Another strong car, just not good enough to win.

Charlotte II
Start: 13th. Finish: 1st. Note: Dominated on long runs, and that's why he won.

Martinsville II
Start: 26th. Finish: 10th. Note: He's finding ways to get those Top 10s.

Talladega II
Start: 3rd. Finish: 17th. Note: Surprisingly, he wasn't going to challenge for the victory.

Phoenix
Start: 31st. Finish: 34th. Note: You haven't seen Sterling finish like this very much this year.

Rockingham II
Start: 18th. Finish: 11th. Note: Solid, but didn't hear much from him all day.

Homestead
Start: 5th. Finish: 5th. Note: Three Dodges in the Top 5 and he was the worst? Say it isn't so.

Atlanta II
Start: 28th. Finish: 2nd. Note: Man, what a year.

New Hampshire II
Start: 6th. Finish: 2nd. Note: To reiterate, what a year.
